文章中出現六種常見的動物英文單字：
lion：獅子
elephant：大象
zebra：斑馬
monkey：猴子
tiger：老虎
bear：熊
背單字時，不要只記中文意思，也可以放進簡單句子裡練習。
There is a lion in the zoo.動物園裡有一隻獅子。
There are some elephants near the water.水邊有一些大象。
There are some monkeys on the playground.遊樂區裡有一些猴子。
There is a bear next to the trees.樹木旁邊有一隻熊。

There is 和 There are 都可以表示「有」，差別在於後面接的是單數名詞還是複數名詞。
There is＋單數名詞
當後面只有一個人、一隻動物或一個物品時，使用 There is。
There is one lion over there.那邊有一隻獅子。
There is a bear next to the trees.樹木旁邊有一隻熊。
one lion 和 a bear 都是單數，因此要使用 There is。
There are＋複數名詞
當後面有兩個以上的人、動物或物品時，使用 There are。
There are some elephants near the water.水邊有一些大象。
There are some zebras behind them.牠們後面有一些斑馬。
There are some monkeys on the playground.遊樂區裡有一些猴子。
elephants、zebras 和 monkeys 都是複數名詞，因此要使用 There are。

some 和 any 都可以表示「一些」，但使用情境不完全相同。
some 用於肯定句
文章中使用 some 表達確實存在一些動物。
There are some elephants near the water.水邊有一些大象。

any 常用於疑問句
當我們詢問某個地方是否有某些動物時，可以使用 any。
Are there any monkeys?有任何猴子嗎？
回答時，文章使用：

any 也常用於否定句

next to：在……旁邊

因為 tigers 是複數名詞，回答否定句時要使用：

錯誤一：

elephants 是複數名詞，不能搭配 There is。

No, there isn’t.
題目中的主詞是複數 tigers，因此回答時必須使用 aren’t。
